Suitable age: All ages

Enjoy an hour at Blackbird Leys swimming pool. There will be a giant inflatable obstacle course in the deep end of the pool – depth set at 2m. This will be for children 8+ who can swim a 25m length and will be asked on the day to do so to ensure their safety. There is also a shallow end – depth set at 1 meter and the learner pool which is slightly warmer where children can enjoy a swim or play with floats, noodles and balls. The pool is 100% wheelchair accessible.

Woodland Walk & Den Building

Come along and spend 2 hours having fun in the woods. You will use maps to navigate down to the den building area.

You can bring a picnic lunch to eat here.

Please note there will be no access to public toilets in the woods.

FreeDog Trampoline Park

Animation Experience Playday

In conjunction with Family Learning Services

Suitable ages: 5+

We are very pleased to be running 2 Animation sessions at the Blackbird Leys Library (run by Family Learning Services).

Each family will make something to animate – using modelling materials, junk materials, paper, card etc. (Families are welcome to bring their own toys to animate), which will then be animated using a simple software programme on the iPad supplied.

Please note – If there is more than one child in your family taking part, they would have to share an iPad.

Partyman World of Play

We have exclusive use of Partyman World Of Play which is home to a huge themed multi levelled play frame. Enjoy the slides and ball area. There is an astro turf football area as well as a soft play area dedicated to under 3s.

The cafe will also be open but will not be the full menu.

Snow White Pantomime

Enter the magical world of the Brothers Grimm where straw can be spun into gold, the moon can be kidnapped and death can be bargained with. From the director of 2014’s freewheeling sell-out Wind in the Willows comes another eccentric Christmas treat for all the family.

PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS A RELAXED PERFORMANCE.

Suitability: 7+

Spaces: 20 children & 20 adults

Parking: Will be available in the school opposite the theatre. Gates will be unlocked from 1:30pm onwards.

MIELE Kitchen Experience

We are very pleased to be running 2 cooking sessions at the Miele kitchens (run by Family Learning Services). The tutor, Luce Carter will make something with a festive theme (savoury and sweet) that can be eaten together or taken home if preferred (menu items will be confirmed once places have been allocated).

Places are limited and parents are expected to supervise their children at all times due to the hot ovens and sharp utensils. You can park at the front of the building and once in reception you will be shown up to the room.
